its getting fall fishing we need to here how lakes are doing all over.here woods is still pretty slow took 5-12 to win last night,heard tims some smallies being caught,fish are sporatically coming up in the jumps.

Good news for the desert. We had rain and the lakes are full again. Bass and Crappie fishing is good all over. Catfishing is always good. Trout stocking will start down here soon. <br /><br />Our mountain lakes just produced the state record Rainbow. 13lb 6oz. http://www.azgfd.gov/artman/publish/article_380.shtml <br /><br />The boat is up and running and I'm looking forward to spending time on the water again. <br /><br />Hey boss, Can I have the next two months off?

I fished Canadarago Lake in upstate (Near Cooperstown)NY on 10/10/05. I was expecting to catch some 'eyes but no luck. I settled on fishing a school of perch and had fun anyways.<br />I don't know what's up with the fall 'eyes but I haven't had any luck yet, not even after the weekend rain.

I fished Lake Texoma last weekend Sat, Sun & Monday on the west end & Big Mineral arm. Water temp was 75 in the AM up to 78 by afternoon, stripers are getting active, just follow the seagulls. Caught a bunch jigging chart/white slabs. Saw a lot of surfacing activity but I couldn't get a topwater bite.<br /><br />Caught my first carp ever Sat. morning - snagged it in the jaw...must have been 25 pounds. I kept trying to grab the lure with my hook extractor so I could shake it off without boating it but it kept diving on me before I could get it within reach; must have gone through that five or six times before the hooks finally tore loose. That was a great fight.

We fished woods wenesday caught 4 keepers one a 3 1/2lb smallie on a carolina rig waters cooling down the bigons should be moving back in the creeks soon.off to guntersville tomarrow.
