With all due respect JB maybe you should rethink your stance on the fish finder topics. If anything is Fishing related it's a fish finder. As depended on as rod and reel. I looked on the electronic area and I think those fish finder/ depth sounder questions would get way better info and more response right here in fishing. Fisherman know these units better than anyone, and it seems most guys just stay right here in the fishing area. Just a thought.

Interesting thought Flathead.

The Electrics, electronics and trollers forum was created mostly for fishermen but put in the general info area because non-fishermen tend to equip their boats with the same electronics as fishermen and most of the traffic has to do with selection, installation and troubleshooting of those devices.

There is a valid argument that selection and use of sonars is a more a concern of fishermen than non-fishermen, but the installation and troubleshooting I see as a boat issue.

Actually, I see trollers as being more of a fishermen exclusive than sonars.

This forum is intended to address fishing and fishing tackle, not boat equipment.

Thanks for the input. Nothing about this site is cast in stone and improvements usually are the result of member input.8)
