I am gonna be camping at Lake George for a week in July, last year when I got there my boat had a blown head gasket(kinda ruined the week) I was just wondering if anyone could give me some good fishing spots, which bait to use and times of day which are best. I am primarily a salt water fisherman, and I have promised that fish will be a part of our menu. I follow instructions real well, will be fishing off a 20 ft robalo center consel.

I'm about 40 minutes away frpm LG and it has great Lake Trout and Bass. Any of the tackle shops around will be more than helpfull in directing you to good spots. Sorry I can't point to specifics but I doubt you will have any problems.

Bob

Thank you Bob, But geez I have this fancy computer and this cable modem and signed up on this forum to get some REAL hands on answers to my posts. I'm sure
local joe at the Lake George bait shop will fill me full of promises of catching the biggest fish in the lake..but I kinda want some one to give me the inside scoop on where to fish and with what...I am primarily a salty dog fisher...so fresh is not my fortee. So guys lets try this again..please...leaving in a week

:D July 5, 2002 managed to get onto Lk George and got into some great Bass by Bolton Landing close to the Sagamore. Used black worms, green worms (dark), and my old favorite jigs in the same color.

Tha traffic was crazy both on and off the water.

Bob
