Fishing Insight

I'm from SC - and have spent my life catching catfish out of the Santee Cooper lakes. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on other great places to try the cats?<br /><br />I'm looking to take a trip in the next few months and am interested to hear what people think.<br /><br />I've always heard Texas - hands down - just would like some more insight.<br /><br />Thanks!!

I can recommend the Catfish forum at www.texasfishingforum.com<br /><br />I don't go after cats, but these guys have put me on more bass & stripers than I ever thought I would catch.

The Mississippi River is also pretty legendary. If it were me I'd try anywhere from Memphis on down.
