Re: fishing in wales
I lived in Wales for 2 years during my teens. There is one thing you must do while you are there. Go fishing in the Severn River when the tide is out and use a Y net. We use to catch flounder, cod, eel , you name it by the gross. The best time of my life. There is nothing like standing in waist high water with a large net in front of you and feel them hit it and as you raise the net, fish galore. You are wore out and have to haul all that fish back to the bank before the tide returns. Make sure you go with an expert. The sandbars, mud, and tide have taken many a life. You must have a local expert guide you. My grandfather was one, but he has passed now.
