Fishing in MN. during shutdown!

I found this on another site and thought some of the folks here might be interested, as far as the validity... I have no idea.

... but it looks like you can fish Lake of Woods without a license if you're staying at one of the participating resorts.

Walleye-filled lakes oh I miss it. Hope some of the good folks at Fish and Game were the first to get their boats hitched up. I'm going to miss my furlough I mean fish day off without pay.

I'd be curious as to the legality of that through the states eyes, but if legit hopefully more counties can follow suit. Then again, I guess there wont be anyone out from the state to check licenses anyway.

My wife has an aunt who lives north of Baudette. The aunt said two bus loads of tourists came in this weekend to fish. They had them pay for the license, got a recept that shows they paid for the license and went fishing. When the state opens again, your supposed to take your recept in to get your license. I don't know if it's just on Lake of the Woods or throughout MN.
