fishing in eastern NC

This is a shot in the dark, but if anyone knows good spots in eastern nc, and not the ocean to go fishing, let me know. The acid levels in some of the places around here are to high to have any fish.

hey there.<br /> i'm from lexington, nc and travel 2.5 hrs to buggs island(kerr lake). best dang lake around north carolina. excellent fishing for a number of species and a beautiful lake at that. wonderful campsites, some with sandy beaches. this is if you are talking about fresh water fishing.....

YEAH, I READ AN ARTICLE IN THE NEWEST EDITION OF NORTH CAROLINA SPORTSMAN, AND I DEFINANTLY WANT TO CHECK IT OUT THIS YEAR. I JUST NEED TO GET MY BOAT RUNNING FIRST!!
