A 25 year old Texas angler, Jeremy Ebert set the pending Texas State record for Tarpon. He was fishing for bull reds when a 210.11 pound tarpon grabed his bait. He fought the fish for about 45 minutes.It took him and a half dozen other anglers to lift it from the water.

This fish was caught off of the Galveston fishing Pier, where Ebert says he grew up on that pier.
