There are difinitly some nice stripers being taken over 40 inches with live mackerel and there are plenty of smaller fish !!! Mackerel are abundent with some of us getting a couple hundred pounds using sabinki rigs!!!! The giant bluefin tuna season has begun as of June 1st with a catch limit of 3 fish per day over 73" for the commercial fishery!!! Anybody fishing recreational for tuna must have a federal angling permit which allows a boat to posess one fish per day per boat!!!
