Re: FISHFINDERS????????????

Power... How many watts can ya get with the $200 bucks allowance, and how easy is it to use..

$200.. Hummmm.. Well, Furuno is probably outta the question... No, on second thought, Ya might be able to score a Furuno 4100 with a transducer for $200 or less... Pound for pound, the little 4100 has more features than all the others...

Don't think you could go wrong with Eagle either...

Go with an Eagle 480 or Eagle 320. Both under $200. That's my opinion. I've had the 320 for about 1 year and have no complaints at all. For the money, I think they are a pretty good deal . The 320 is like $159. and the 480 is $189 I think.
There are plenty of good finders for under $200. Check the pixel counts. Watts is not that important for me as I only fish in 50 ft of water at the very maximum. Most finders can reach depths that most people will never see anyways.
I do see that you are in FL though, clear readings in 500 ft of water may be necessary for you. Not this guy.
D
