fishfinder/sonar for shallow water

hello guys ,I fish in shallow lagoons and reefs, not offshore, what fishfinder is recomended for me, no more $200. Whailer 13' (dingy) thanks.

Go to www.cabelas.com or any of your local discount stores that have sporting goods and fishing equipment. Eagle makes several versions that will work for you that are well under $200. Shop around and you'll even get a speed and temperature capable unit.

I dont know if you are aware that some fish " feel " sonar waves in shallow water and have learned to stop biting as normal as they move away from the sound.

If I had to buy one today for under 200, I would look at the Eagle Fishmark 480, excellent graph for the money. I use one on my 14' boat, and has proven to be a major tool in finding fish and structure at local lakes.<br /><br />Good Luck
