Does anyone know if this company is still in business? Thinking about purchasing a used model. I'm assuming it is just a Tracker with Fisher decals.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Fisher Brand Boats

The Fisher Boat Company was bought by Tracker back in the 1990s. Depending on the year it might actually be an actual Fisher boat. I owned an '85 Fisher an enjoyed it quite a bit until my needs outgrew it. I've read online that the quality of Fisher boats went downhill after the Tracker purchase, but I have no firsthand knowledge of it so I'm really just spreading rumors.

What year are you looking to purchase?

Agree, they aren't as good as they were.

The welded v hull models are a copy of the old Brunswick Spectrum boats, with the Fisher name.
Ok boat, but thin hulled, and I didn't like the way it slid thru the turns with that smooth bottom.

They were badged as Spectrum thru 1995.
After that, the Spectrum name disappeared and suddenly Fisher boats appeared, that look the same.

It is a 2007 fisher hawk 160 WT-- It looks just like the tracker Pro Guides.

Thanks again for the help
