Started off crappie fishing could'nt get a bite then went to bass ,had nothing ran into a buddy that had found some good crappie the day before and we went to his spot,evedentally someone saw him there and camped out on it all day,no fish but it was good to be on the water.

Ron, I think we may be related. ALL DAY YESTERDAY, not a hit. Wobbled my boat as fast as I could stand to drive it to the fishing hole. Fished a channel, surrounding stump flats, banks...and even in the trees on the bank. Trolled my way out with crappie jigs. Nuttin but beautiful weather.

Maybe this weekend will be better i have a small tourney,going after the small jaws,its not going to be long and the fish are really going to biting.water was up to 57*

Out half a day monday, one little sandie. but enjoyed getting out, water 58* in 12' depth, sunburned something horrible, time to drag out the sunscreen next time.

I got a little burnt the other day too.Talked my buddy last night he slayed the crappie had some up to 14" He told me were to go,im going to try to leave early friday and get me a mess of them tasty little critters.
