Took a close friend out Bass fishing yesterday, water temp about 55. Started right off with a deep diving crankbait and the second cast had a strike. I mean "I had a strike"!!! I almost lost a rod before I could get the drag losened! I knew right away It was no Bass. Turned out to be an 18# Coho Native Salmon. Cant keep them in this lake. I no sooner had this one released than my buddy had one on, his would go about 20#s. We quickly hooked another 15 Salmon in about two hours. Man did we have fum on our Bass poles. Only down side was that we lost abought $20.00 worth of Crankbaits. Some can be repaired, but all of them need new hooks at least.
