My father in-law just winterized his boat. He put it on his trailer when I notice something funny. A dead fish had been caught between the Hull and the bottom boat guide. He said he will just let it go until next year. I though I would ask you guys if this would hurt the Hull in any way. I can only imagine the odds of this happening but with him I can believe it. ;) So back to the question. Will a fish caught between the Hull of his boat and the boat guide do any harm to the boat? I assume the fish will rot away over the winter. :D

You will find out you have a lot more cats in the hood than you thought......otherwise, can't hurt nothing.

I think I would remove any part of the fish that I could just to reduce the smell. A pressure washer would be my tool of choice here. ;)

I saw this solution on another site...not the same problem (your fish story tops them all) however should work.

With a jack or a couple of jacks and some 2x6's...jack up the boat, closest to the "offending" fish, and remove the fish.

I can just see him now, sitting in the boat all winter dangling a line over the side waiting for that fish to take the bait.

:) sorry, couldn't resist.
