Fish hunter 250. Tag?

Just wondering somthing. I just got my fish hunter 250 setup with a small 40lb trolling motor from walmart and I'm not sure if I need to put a state tag on it. I live in Ohio.

I've taken it to a few large ponds and it works great but would like to take it to a few local lakes but don't know if its worth going through the trouble of tagging it.

But not only the tag is their anything alse I would also have to have on the boat?

In Arkansas any vessel powered by anything other than good old fashioned muscle or wind must be registered. I suspect Ohio sees it the same way, but the only way to be sure is to contact your fish and wildlife folks or possibly the revenue office.

Same in Missouri tags are good for 3yrs.If you are going to use a trolling motor you have to get the raft tited and get tags if it gas motor you have to have a tite for the gas motor too
