I have an older Humminbird fishfinder that has a bare wire the last 2 inches before transducer. What can I use to seal it? does it need to be sealed?

Jason

I thought a fish finder worked this way -- Drown a shrimp. Down a beer. Wait. Repeat.

Sorry Jason, I couldn't resist.

Good luck, really!

No worries. Toyman. Your marina should have some liquid electrical tape. Just paint it on, several coats. If the marina doesn't have it a hardware store should, and probably cheaper.

Red sky at night. . .
JB :)
