I have the power to my fishfinder running to the front of the boat,I have the transducer wire running back through the same wire loom as the power. Is this ok? or will I get interference?

Thanks,
no4njnk

Re: fish finder question

You may get interference when the Motor is running! Try to keep them separate, if possible. Best if transducer cable is isolated from all other wiring!

Also depends on Fishfinder. I run all RayMarine equip and my transducer cable is shielded. Found out the expensive way.I'm on my way out to install my new transducer :) now

I dont think Hummingbird (low end units) are shielded

Eric
