Fish Finder & Navigation Device

So I own a boat and a jet ski, and would like to have the privilege to use a device that would do both function, such fish finding and navigate for both the boat and the jet ski. I have looked at many of them by visiting Academy, Bass Pro Shop, Amazon, etc but don't seem to see what I can look for. I am little confuse and the multi information that they provide is confusing as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would stop by either a boat show or a marine specialty store myself. I do most of my browsing at local boat shows as well as West Marine, then hit the interweb to order. your looking at a chart plotter. I myself have settled on a Garmin EchoMAP 54dv

although for the jetski, maybe a 43dv or 44dv would fit the the confined location better

you will need a second set of transducers/cables/brackets.

The difference among the 54dv to the 43 0r 44dv is it just the size? Or is there different components.
