Below you can see what I found on the net. It says the cone detection area is 60 degrees. Enjoy ! mine is only 24 degrees

"The FishEasy® 2 Series is the easiest-to-use sonar, with greatly enhanced fish-finding features and newly designed receiver, at a highly affordable price!

Features

Display:

4" (10.2 cm) diagonal screen
Film SuperTwist LCD
High-definition 240x160 resolution
Backlit screen and keypad
16-level grayscale

Sonar:

Depth capability to 800 ft* (244 m) with 1500 watts of peak-to-peak power
High-performance, low-profile 200 kHz Skimmer® transducer delivers a wider, more effective fish detection area of up to 60° with high sensitivity settings - Operates at boat speeds up to 70 mph (61 kts)
FishReveal feature exposes fish targets hidden in surface clutter, weed beds, thermoclines, and other types of underwater cover
HyperScroll feature locates and displays fish targets at higher boat speeds
Advanced Signal Processing (ASP) automatically adjusts your settings for the best sonar picture
Patented GRAYLINE® separates fish from nearby structure and bottom
Advanced Fish I.D. shows underwater targets in different sizes of fish symbols
FishTrack displays target depth readings above fish symbols
Selective on/off sonar alarms: Shallow, Deep, and Fish

Performance:

Advanced new receiver design offers enhanced sensitivity and target detail, as well as greater resistance to electrical interference
High-speed screen updates during depth range changes provide smooth, continuous underwater viewing
Internal back-up memory for key sonar settings
Completely sealed and waterproof, even for use in harsh saltwater environments
Full one-year warranty
"

Well, if a real cone is the detection area (only the guys at the factory know that I guess), then you can calculate the radius of the cone at particular depth intervals.

I made a calculation for a 60 degrees cone, and the results are:

Depth ( ft ) Radius ( ft )

5 3
10 6
15 9
20 12
25 14
30 17
35 20
40 23
45 26
50 29
55 32
60 35
65 38
70 40
75 43
80 46
85 49
90 52
95 55
100 58
105 61
110 64
115 66
120 69
125 72
130 75
135 78
140 81
145 84
150 87

It means that at 15 ft depth, the transducer is sensing a 9 ft circle...and so on.

If I use the 24 degrees cone of my Humminbird (model wide128) the results are:

Depth ( ft ) Radius ( ft )
5 1
10 2
15 3
20 4
25 5
30 6
35 7
40 9
45 10
50 11
55 12
60 13
65 14
70 15
75 16
80 17
85 18
90 19
95 20
100 21
105 22
110 23
115 24
120 26
125 27
130 28
135 29
140 30
145 31
150 32

...very poor results that I have discovered now...lol

Hope this helps.

Mav
Info Kesh gave you looks correct except you have a 20 degree transducer. In the 200khz transducer Lowrance/Eagle make 8 degree, 12 degree, and 20 degree transducers. At 200khz 20 degrees is about the limit with a single transducer.

If you read carefully you will note they never say 60 degree transducer. Instead they say up to 60 degrees. There transducer just like everyone elses is 20 degrees at the -3DB Half Power point. If you do not belive this go and look for a 60 degree replacement transducer. Yes it you rate at a different standard like -10DB 1/10 Power point it would rate at 40 degrees. Bottom line is you have the same basic transducer as Kesh has. In 30 feet of water can see about a 10 foot diameter circle.

Only way to get a wider cone angle is to go to a lower frequency like 50KHZ, or use more than one tranducer.

http://www.lowrance.com/Tutorials/Sonar/sonar_tutorial_06.asp
http://www.vexilar.com/help/tips/tip006.html
