Fish finder and Transducers

I finally found a replacement depth gauge for my boat for $50 off ebay, which is very similar to the one that was in my boat before, though it has two additional wires that I think are for NMEA output. Does this mean I can get a 200khz fish finder and attach it to these two wires and use only the one transducer I have in the bottom of my boat?
