First time removing lower unit

I am removing the lower unit on my '99 225 Merc Opti to have new seals put in due to water in gear case. Is removing the lower unit on this model difficult to do and is there a manual that explains how to do this? I am usually pretty good with motors just dont want to screw any thing up.<br /><br />Thanx

Catp Andy...i bought a merc manuel on 'mercurymarine.com' under "parts express", then click on 'parts on merc engines'....enter the info and look for manuels. Mine is "seloc" Mercury outboards 1990-2000 repair manual. It shows how to remove lower unit with pictures and all.
