I have a 1973 Johnson 135HP ob. On a 1973 MFG 19'.
I bought it as a basket case price was right and it gives me somthing to do.
My problem is the Electric trim. I think I am missing some parts in the wiring. I can get it to work by jumping the blue and green wires from the trim motor one way up the other down. The trim botton on the thotle handle hase three wires red green and blue. Red is power Green and red is directional. The bottens on the trancent has three wires purple green and red. The wires from the trim motor only has green and red.
The problem is when green is power red is ground. When red is power then green is ground. I dont have a comand ground that switch back and forth. WHAT AM I MISSING?
