First time I've been able to connect to the forums in four days

Hi guys,

Has anyone been having any trouble getting the forums up and running on their pc's over the last few days?

In my neck of the woods, down under, it seems to be a constant source of trouble connecting to the forums for days on end.

Just wondering if anybody has any ideas as to why?

In the past I have also had problems connecting (and not just iboats). Some site servers are very sensitive to the MTU setting on your router. I have often had to 'fiddle' with the setting to get it to connect. The most common number I use is 1500, but I have had to experiment with values between 1400 and 1550.

Thanks mate. Iboats seems to be the only server that I have trouble connecting with so I'll give the settings a bit of a fiddle and see how it goes.
