I thought I'd ask a rookie IO owner question now about draining water rather than asking a rookie IO owner question in the spring about how to fix a busted up motor, eh!

I'd be very appreciative if you guys could do a quick check of my work to make sure I got all the water out.

Here is what I did...

Port Side
#1 and #2 plugs off probed and drained. #3 The hose on the power steering was tough to get off but I was able to contort the power steering pump and hose so gravity could do it's thing and the water ran right out. Hose off at #4 and drain.

Bow Side
Hose off and drain at #5.

Starboard Side
#6 and #7 plugs off, probed and drained. Hose off at #8 and drained.

I did pull off other hoses and blew compressed air through the works but that didn't give me any additional water.

So as I see it, I have a grand total of 8 different locations that needed to be drained.

Sound about right to you vets?

What did I miss?

Thanks in advance!
