First Real Boat and Johnson Outboard, Please help, thanks

Greetings,

This weekend I took the plunge and I am new to boating. I just bought a used 17ft center console Sea Pro with a 110 Johnson 1989 VRO engine. I know it's old, but I thought it would be a good starter for me.

Does anyone know where to find the basic part numbers like impeller, spark plugs, battery size, etc. I guess for now the most helpful would be type of spark plugs that would be recommended and then how big of a battery would I need for this type of engine. Is a battery with 625 CCA big enough or is there a better choice ?

Any additional helpful hints would be greatly appreciated, thank you all for taking your time, Bill.

hmmm..1989 is old...??
My boat and motor are 1971 and I have 5 Johnson outboards between 1948 and 1952...I guess mine might be really old
are you asking what is the best BRAND of spark plug?

Looks like all 6 listed above used part BRP 0395864 for the Impeller...it has been superseded by part BRP-5001593
