first of the Spring trout!

I heard the ''peepers'' the other night,and a few warm days brings out the first hatches.I went down, checked out my gear and took a turn around the lake- a few rises ,not much yet but a nice little rainbow took my little **** Nyte spoon[the smallest one,3/4 ''and black]Hopefully that will herald a few weeks of some very enjoyable trout fishing.I used to drag gang trolls, but found I got more action by using light lines, no weight except a chain swivel and tiny spoons or flatfish.More fun, too.
