Sorry you can't go because it was yesterday <br /><br />This was how Dunaruna and I spent Super Bowl Sunday (do you want to know the final score?). <br /><br />Dunaruna's wife was nice enough to chaperon the two of us aboard a little rental boat. Polycraft I think, with a 10 bhp Honda.<br /><br />

Listen guys......I know you all live in sunny Cal. And you have boating year long....24/7 if you want it......but we folks here along the Muddy Banks don't. And seein' as how I'm trapped with a bunch of Steelers Fans and gettin' beat up cause there winning and I can't retreat to the confines of the river......I am really peeved by the pic! Don't you guys have any feelings???? Don't you know there are folks that don't have it as good as you all???? We have to worry about winterizing our rigs and worrying about snow and crap like that! I could wish a 9/0 quake on you guys....but I won't. But what I will do is hope you guys get more days like the one you got today......

The water has to be the Yarra, because it looks dirty enough, and Dunnarun lives in that area.<br />As for who is who, the comment about a Yank never taking his shades off for a photo threw me.<br />The guy on the right has white legs, and that is a give-away up here in Queensland, but the guy on the left is in jeans and has a sleeveless jacket to keep warm, so that could indicate a Aussie.<br />Goodness, I don't know........<br />Cheers<br />Phillip

How hot is it down there this summer fellows? <br />

It was around 80ish once the clouds went away, but it was well over 100 a week prior. I am in Perth now and it was 95 today (Monday). When you're a little bit away from the water, Perth feels like the Texas hill country to me. Not quite as hilly, but the brush and the weather look and feel similar. You just have to pretend the 'roos are deer . . .

It's just attached to the boat, just like the nice hire guy (that's rental guy for you 'mericans) said it was . . .
