First Fish!

Yesterday, We went canoing on this reservoir just north of the house, Some big fish have been taken there, 25+" Rainbow & Brown Trout, 28+" Lake Trout, 8#+ Smallmouth bass, walleye, Largemouth bass, etc...<br /><br />Well Alexandra caught her first fish, What was it you may ask? She caught a 4" Sunny. But to her is was a whale. Made her daddy proud, The Cast, the set, and the reel in were all her.<br /><br />Now she's hooked and can't wait to go again.

That is awesome, I hope that my daughter gets into it like that. When she goes with me, she just like to play with the minnows.

Its a great feeling watching your kids, or any kids for that matter, catch fish. In fact my 24 year old daughter called a couple days ago and ask if I would take her fishing. when my daughters were teenagers and ask what I wanted for fathers day I would tell then "just go fishing with me" Those are times I will always remember.
