First boat

Hello to the masses. Just got my first boat today. 1972 17' Reinell. Just wondering if anyone could refer me to a site with info on how to identify what engine it has in it. It looks to be a G.M. inline 4 motor to me. There is OMC1981462 stamped on the manifold. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That would be an OMC 2.5 liter(chevy 4 Banger)with electric choke.
