Fire suppression system - wires on top of cylinder?

I bought a boat that has an automatic fire suppression system in the engine compartment and the cylinder has a device with two wires on the top. Is this monitoring the pressure in the cylinder or is it a means of "manually" discharging the cylinder? I don't remember what brand the system is but there is (was) a LED on the dash related to the system, presumably to let me know when the pressure is insufficient?

Depending on how old the system is, its either Halon or CO2. The wires feed a LED to tell the system is pressurized. It may not be full pressure but does have pressure. Only way to identify if its full is by weighting the cylinder. The light goes out if its discharged

Awesome. I was afraid to try hooking anything up to it because I didn't want to set it off... But if it's just the pressure monitor then I'll be adding a new LED since the old one is in bad shape.

Thanks.
