I have a new to us 2013 Bryant what does it mean if this light is on? Sorry if I am asking in wrong spot on forum. Thanks for any help.

looks like it has sensor/gauge system to turn on blower fan if fumes in bilge are detected. Locate sensor in bilge and hold butane lighter under while buddy watches helm light and listens to blower fan to come on.

Hopefully you mean hold a butane lighter under sensor without activating the flame part of the lighter but letting the butane come out?

Looks like a check engine light

Is the engine an ec (catalyst) model?

CEL light on would indicate a fault

#1 on the bilge fume detector.....

That looks more like a standard CEL and generic warning at the helm rather than fume detector

The light came on after a new driver(wife) tried to start boat she was letting off the key before it engine actually cranked she did it about three times. The boat runs good all fluids are correct temp is good. Is their a way to clear the light, similar to the cars without a scan tool.

We have no idea what you're working on. And when you clear a code on a car, you're supposed to fix the underlying issue.

Ii apologize I thought I had attached to original post it a 2013 Bryant with mercruiser Chevy. There is a check engine light on left hand side of dash next to blower switch. I agree on the fix the problem, but the operator error set the light off and wanting to clear it (get light out) and was wonder if there is a simple way I could clear it. Thanks

My 2002 Silverado CEL comes on due to evap system fault. I just remove negative battery cable, wait couple minutes, reattach, light is out.
