A fire and bomb threat has once again brought New York City to its knees again!

All Amtrack, LIRR and NJTransit trains service into and out of Penn Station is suspended, indefinitly!

Guess I'm walkin 64 miles home today!!

So far, no BOOM.

Appears to be just a threat, along with 2 suspicious fires.

And everyone wonders why I want out of NY...

Re: FIRE AT PENN STATION NYC

Just to let you all know, I got home safely at 9:10 PM last evening.

Only took 4 1/2 hours, to go 60 miles!!

And of coarse, the delays continued this morning!

My train was 45 minutes late, but thats nothing unusual, as the LIRR is notorious for it's consistancy, for being late!

The worlds busiest rail road, is also the worlds worst rail road.

That does suck Kenny, but at least it wasn't anything "terrible". I'd want out of NYC also (as a matter of fact, I think I hear Yankee fans jumping off the bandwagon right now) ;)

What are you smokin up there gaugeguy?

Ain't no Yankee fans jumping off anything right now!

Remember, its Boston who TRAILS the Yankees by 3 games!!

The American League East Pennant will be flying over Yankee Stadium, NOT Fenway Park, right alongside the 26 World Series Championship banners (1923, 1927-1928, 1932, 1936-1939, 1941, 1943, 1947, 1949-1953, 1956, 1958, 1961-1962, 1977-1978, 1996, 1998-2000), and the 39 American League East Pennants (1921-1923, 1926-1928, 1932, 1936-1939, 1941-1943, 1947, 1949-1953, 1955-1958, 1960-1964, 1976-1978, 1981, 1996, 1998-2001, 2003)

What more need I say?

I think "right now" says quite a bit Ken, give them 2 weeks and they will be jumping like fleas off a dead dog :p

You can always fall back on the old... 1918

You aren't gonna offend me, Kenny...it's all in good fun. Yankee fans always throw out "the history", well we are talking the present now my friend :D

And besides, being a die-hard Red Sox fan, I have heard it all :(

But which team trails which team?

And, I know you've heard it all before, but history has a tendency to repeat its self, doesn't it?

And, yes, I know its all in good fun. Believe it or not, I wish the Red Sox all the luck in the world...

They are going to need it, if they wish to prevail!!

Re: FIRE AT PENN STATION NYC

Yeah, but who makes it too the playoffs like St. Louis teams! Blues... (loose in 2nd round to redwings every year)....Rams(...oh, never mind)....Cardinals... Good at getting ALMOST to the WS... BUT, in st. louis, our tunnles don't catch fire, and the mass transit is only used by people to go to the ball games.
