Hi Guys and Gals, I'm the new guy. I see alot of good info on here and hope I can pass along any I gain to the next boater.
I have just purchased an 1989 Carver Montego 2557 with the sealander model 752 manual marine toilet. First of all I'm new to how the head works but it doesnt seem to difficult to figure out. that being said, the valve on the pump that switches from the tank to the sea water seems to be stuck (the lever is going back and forth like it supposed to but i dont feel resistance).Iit looks like it is stuck to the tanks side because i can put water in the toilet and it pumps out. Anyway I cannot find any info on this toilet and I'm guessing sealand does not make them anymore or changed their name? A rebuild kit would be all I need, I hate wasting money on such a simple thing when I could be putting it somewhere else in the boat. I was thinking If all else fails I could just change out the pump with a new one at West Marine if I have to. Any help with this issue would be appreciated
