Find or make parts for old mercury

I have inherited a nice 4.5 HP outboard which lost its choke assembly and is very difficult to start without a choke. When started it runs great!!! It is older than dirt but has never been used very much. Can anyone find me a part or even pics or specks for the part so I can machine same out of Aluminum. It would be a shame to just pitch this antique. I feel that way as I am an antique myself. Thanks in advance for your help.
