Man, what a Spring. More to do on the boat than I expected, followed by being pretty sick for a couple of weeks, including a 4-day stint in the hospital. I was starting to wonder if I'd make it to the water at all this year.
Well, Linda and I busted our butts the past 2 weekends, I did something on it nearly every evening; and yesterday was finally the day.
The tow went great, the launch went great and the boat is running like a champ. We stopped to fill the tank, then brought her around to our dock space in Bay Shore.
We'll spend the next couple of evenings loading her up for a weekend raft-up with our Power Squadron buds. AND, the weather here for the July 4th weekend is shaping up to be spectacular. Sunny and in the 80's straight through to next Tuesday!
