Here is an update to those that have advised me on several topics concerning my Christmas present.
89 bayliner cutty with a 125 force/boooo.

Got the trim to work, got the radio upgraded, mooring cover redone, trailer cover on order. bimini outfitted. dsc/vhf and fish finder and gps wired, new lounge seats, and a good waxing.

So what’s a fell to do next, see if it floats and moves thru water? YES IT DID. About 35 mph, surprised at the quietness of the motor.
Learned to appreciate a roller trailer, this is on a bunk. Much smother ride than the 17ft Larson bow rider. Just not as fast.
now I got to check compression, bearring, and try it again.

Re: finally got to try the boat.

Good to hear the news Wajajaja. Nothing like being rewarded with a problem free day of boating from the effort of hard work and money. It is always worth it for me to.

Hope things continue to go well for you and your boat... :D
