finally bought a new ski

just picked up a new ultra 250x , had them take it out of the crate ,service it and load it on my trailer,, what a difference from my 4 tec doos,, this thing will take off so fast out of the hole it has nearly come out from under me several times.. almost have the 10 hour break in period finished.. 1 hour left to go,,

That is a really nice ski! I was wanting one of those, or is it the LX that comes supercharged? In 02, I bought a brand new 1200STX-R, and I loved that thing, I whooped every ski in the bay, and myself a few times too, I might add. Kawasaki is my favorite maker.

this is supercharged and intercooled,, the lx has the fancy seats and a little more bling,, but no one had any in the color I wanted just the ugly green,,

Well, that thing is awesome!! What is your top end? I don't like that green color you were talking about. i thought the LX came in red? Anyways, my STX-R came with a white hull, with black checkered flag and light green (the green that looks good) color scheme. Man, I miss that thing. . . Rest in peace, while you're sleeping at the bottom of the bay . .

they have the limiter set ay 7400 rpm I hit that at 3/4 throttle so I plan on increasing the pitch on the impeller since there is a lot left when it hits 66 mph.. I also believe a pump wedge is needed to keep the bow up a little,, I don't think it will be too hard to get 70 out of it,, right now the hole shot is so extreem that the ski nearly comes out from under you when you hit it and it hits 60 in 1 or 2 seconds it's actually a rocket out of the hole.

Hey Jeff, That ski is Awesome! Best of Luck! I'm green with envy!
By the way, the blue is nice, but I also like the Kawasaki dayglow green, it's their trademark

I know it's their color but I can't seem to get it to do a thing for me,, I find it repulsive,, nothing I can do about it I hate green. lol
