FICHT oil injection question

So I've had my head buried in the service manual of my 2001 200HP FICHT engine. I've been buying some spare parts and come warmer weather plan on taking a real close look at all those oil injection hoses. Looks like there are a LOT of little hoses. I bought OEM grade hose and clamps. But boy it sure look like I'me gonna have to take off a great deal of 'stuff' to even get at it all, Maybe I'd be wasting my time what do you think? Any idea on the service lift of those hoses? I'm temped to pull on one and twist with some needle nose just to see if it's still soft or if has gotten hard. If they feel hard then maybe I should bite the bullet and change them all. Thoughts??

Next question.. It sure looks to me that the only warning there is is if the 43psi feeding the oil injector stops then the EMM will trip the warning. But I don't see anything as far as a pressure sensor AFTER the injector is that right? In other words if the electric oil injector quit how would the EMM even know anything is wrong? Am I wrong on this? I HOPE SO because that means your engine is fried if that injector stops. not good!

I couldn't find anything after the oil injector either. The only one I found was the one coming off of the oil lift pump.

It's sort of confusion in the manual because at one point it says the EEM monitors the oil injection circuit and if it see's an open and if so it knows there's a problem. Then a paragraph or two further it mentions the pressure sensor on the lift pump and says it's normally closed but opens after 43psi. Well are they talking about the same thing?? I don't know.. But it occurred to me perhaps if the injector pump stopped it would normally do so by the coil going open so perhaps it would sense that. When the the weather actually gets about 32 around here that is on my list of things to see. At idle,,, and only for a second,,, I am going to disconnects the oil injectors and see if it trips a trouble code. I can't believe they would skip such and obvious and important things as making sure then engine is getting oiled!

Lots of parts on eBay. ha I noticed used oil injector's from engines that 'blew a rod'. Do I really want to buy an oil pump from an engine that blew a rod?!! ha Maybe the oil pump quit thats WHY it blew a rod! lol

That said... I think if you know how they work and make sure you maintain them correctly they can last a long time. Hope so ,,, I'll be conversing lake Huron with one next summer. I'm really hoping the EMM detects no oil pressure on the injector side or that's going to bug me...
