I've got a 2002 ficht 115hp that has developed a bad oil leak. It runs fine, but oil starting leaking everywhere last time out. Never had this issue before, but it appears to be a common problem from what I've read this morning.
it appears to be coming from the engine area, and leaking down the shaft covers and coming out the bottom. I've taken the cowl off with it running and from what I can see, drips of oil are coming from the oil pump hoses area under the air box, into the bottom of the engine compartment.
with it tilted up, I could see burnt oil coming from 3 of the 4 cylinders, but what appears in the engine compartment and bottom of the shaft is clean 2-stroke oil. I just filled the oil box last week with new xps xd50 from the local dealer.
I would appreciate any help someone could provide on the solution and if there is a link to a service manual online.
