fenwick line counter rod

Anyone know much about these? Any good? what reel and line would you match up with an 11 ft walleye trolling Elite tech? Just picked one up(blind auction) and I know nothing about it.

I consider Fenwick rods entry level to middle of the road grade. If you have a line counter rod you should pair it up with a line counter reel for trolling, Cabelas has some fairly inexpensive line counter reels (less than $100 I think).

Do you troll, or are you thinking about getting into it?

yes troll a lot for lakers and salmon.. why would you want both the rod and reel counting the line out??
