I have a few fenders that have collapsed. I don't see any way of putting air in them. Is there a way to inflate them or are they trash?

if they're taylor made, anyone that sells them will swap them out for free. west marine swapped one for me this weekend. the new one has a valve.

if not, i'd check with wherever you got 'em. they may have a warranty.

I'll have to check who made them. Actually, they are not very expensive, maybe new ones are in order. Something to add to the Christmas list :D

Many of the cheap ones can't be refilled. Just buy some more, or get the Taylor Made. You can pump them up.

I just wait for the tourists to show up with their fenders flailing in the wind as they cruise by. Quite frequently they are generous enough to leave one behind. On a few occasions I've found a beat up and deflated TaylorMade and had no problems exchanging it for a new one. I also mark mine with name and phone number so that they at least stand a chance of return if I should lose one of my own, and I certainly return the favor if one I do find has return info on it...
