Thanks guys! You're right southkogs. She's breaking her old man's heart! She's still okay with being my little girl for now at least. She recently told me she wants to be able to roll, make sharp eddy turns and surf and play in waves, so it's time for a whitewater kayak.

I took time to look up the area and river and beautiful scenery, that is quite the escarpment/cliff the river runs against and the waterfalls look great especially the one where the creek ate through the ceiling of the cave.

Take every minute of it. My youngest daughter is 17, and at some level both girls are still our "little girls" some days. Both are growing up though, and I'm having to adjust to treat 'em like the women they are. Fortunately they still like doing stuff with Dad ... but eventually the right dude is gonna' show up :faint2:
