Fast in-gear idle?

I'm installing a new Yamaha F50 on my boat. The official Yamaha break-in procedure calls for the following:

First 10 minutes: run the engine at the lowest possible speed (idle). A fast in-gear idle is best

Next 50 minutes.....

Does "fast in-gear idle" mean shifting it to forward at idle speeds?
