farming worms

Hi all,<br />I need to get some ideas from you fisherman. I'm sure some of you have tricks for growning worms in your back yard. I have two pretty large Oscar fish that loves to eat worms. What is the best way to attract worms into a vegetable or flower bed. I figure I add some vegetable and fruit cuttings and bury it 2-3 inches below the surface over a 2x6 sqare area. Will that do the trick? Thanks.
