Family escapes boating disaster Lake Mead

A family of 13 and 8 were children in a 24 foot recreational boat in 3 foot swells. Just wondering others opinion. Can't link this paper because 2 lawyers are buying rights to the papers articles and sueing hundreds for copy right infringement (SCUM). wow, glad they made it out alright. I am curious at what kind of boat they had. Lake Mohave and Mead gets pretty nasty when the wind kicks up. I try to avoid the middle of the lake and stay close to shore....
