Re: Failure to launch.

You guys are so horrible.
My dad always said get yer facts right before criticizing someone.

I happen to know that this guy has just driven 60 miles from The Bahamas to West Palm Beach
With months of preparation he waterproofed everything and installed retractable snorkel for the aspiration of the engine, Bearing Buddies all round and loads of plastic bags.
Guys take your hats off to this real man.

He was just stopping to take some photos of his achievement.

What is your problem.

This is the most plausible explenation I've heard so far.

James, I have no doubt that there was some sort of alcohol involved in this. LOL

Re: Failure to launch.

there are a number of beaches in North Carolina where the only access is unpaved, so heavy equipment (including house trailers) is moved on the hard sand on the beach. Used to be in Virginia, too, but this is a newer vehicle. So he could have been moving it up the beach to put on a lot, and got stuck en route. Possibly backing to get a straight shot off the beach and over the dunes, went too far and got hung up. I think the waves then moved the trailer sideways; you can see that the wash has locked in his tires.

Certainly looks like an east coast beach but I know there are similar beaches elsewhere.

I see a tow strap on his front bumper. Do you call AAA, or Sea Tow?
