looking at a 2017 nauticstar and when I looked underneath I saw some holes on the top of the stingers. The holes are filled with foam. I assume this was done at the factory. Does that seem right?20220312_140508.jpg

Doubt myself if that was factory. The hole has chipping, and the foam is not sealed in. I don't know if that boat style had hollow stringers, or wood filled ones myself. I'll hang out and see what others have to say. It's possible someone drilled the hole to see if it was wet in there.

Looks very similar to holes in my sea ray stringers and floor Through which they filled the void with foam. They have a plastic cap covering them which doesnt always stay in place over time. There are 10-12 visible between engine compartment, ski locker, and storage compartments on either side of engine .

Those look a lot like the fiberglass stringers that are in my boat. For my boat, the stringers were clearly cast outside the hull, then tabbed to the hull with fiberglass, then filled with foam as yours seem to be. Looks good!

Just seems weird that they would leave the holes open. Almost feel like I should close them up with caulk
