Factory / custom Cover

well I called crest to order a cover for my toon and the gave me the name and number of the company they use to make theirs. Long story short I called and for a brand new cover (new snaps, 3 new poles and plastic vents) plus shipping I'm looking at $680. thats $30 more than the canvas shop wanted to make me a custom one and that didn't include the new poles, and vents. I'll be ordering a new cover this week. Now i just need to find a good fish finder / chart plotter. live is good.

Great. You'll be very pleased. That cover will last twenty years if you treat it right, and it will definitely add to the resale value when the time comes.

Yea that sounds like a good deal. Their isnt any thing like having a good cover. I had one made for mine late last fall and I have ben very happy. It has held up to the rain and snow very well. Think of a good cover like its a garage for your boat because it is.

That's a good deal. I think mine was about $800 a few years ago. I'm north of the border so I expected to pay a bit more than you guys in the US.

One of my best friends is a upholster-er-er-er. He will be making me a custom cover later this year, but first, he's making them for my family members. I tell him all the time, my stuff can wait. He 'squeezes' me in when he gets a little slow time, which I want him to do. Make money first from those that can't wait. He's good, and CHEAP. Between you and me... I'm getting anxious.
