f50tlrb mixture screw setting

Hi guys i was wondering if anyone knows what the factory setting is on the mixture screws on my yamaha F50tlrb. howm many turns out?

From what I understand, the spec is a starting point and then you have to use a multi channel manometer to adjust them properly while warm and running

ok i have no idea what that is i just figured there would be a starting spec like every other motor

hi i am trying to adjust my carbs correctly and was wondering if anyone knows how many turns out the mixture screw should be?

I just merged your two posts together, plus deleted one. Please do not post more than once on the same subject.

The screw settings are not published. What you need to do is count the turns in for each carb before dissasembly, then put them back.

that would be all fine and dandy if the carbs were not taken apart when i got them thanks for all the help

Contact your local Yamaha dealer, and have the PID number handy, and have them call Yamaha tech to get the settings.
A certified dealer can get that info, individuals can't.

do you know what the best and cheapest manometer is that will work on yamaha outboards?
